Save the Ta-Ta's: OKC's Pink Party

People from all over the state came together Friday night for the OKC Pink Party Tweet- Up at Put a Cork in It Winery.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and people all over the United States have united to benefit the Susan G. Koman Foundation.

The Komen Foundation has raised over $1.3 billion for research, education and health services, making it the largest breast cancer charity in the world.

Put a Cork in It, Bricktown’s Winery had a perfect location for supporters to meet one another and taste a variety of wines.

Located at 115 E California on the lower level, Put a Cork In It is right on the canal and is Bricktown’s best kept secret.

The Pink Party was all it said it would be, and more. With more shades of pink then you could count, Breast Cancer survivors and supports alike participated in wine tasting, door prize give away, and networking.

Event Organizers; Jennifer Harper and Justin Sanchez promoted the event on Twitter for days and even continued to send updates as the event was in progress.

Local business such as Samuel Gordon, Jinxy Cakes, Heaven on Earth Photography, Edmond Active, Which Which?, Designing Diva Interiors, Cedarburg Square and Sparkle Internet Image Solutions, Put A Cork In It and Irma's Burgers were more than happy to donate their time or services for the event.

A great time was had by all and money was raised for an amazing cause. Oklahoma will continue to spread the word about breast cancer, so do your part!

Getting closer to Home

Who would have thought that Oklahoma would be on my mind these last days of me being in Cal.

It is so ironic how you miss what you know so well. Even if you think it is not good at the time.

Life is being a bit of a rollercoaster for the time being. Praise God I found someome to accompany me on my roadtrip back to CA from Oklahoma. Downside: I had to pay for the entire one way ticket back. Cost $200. YIKES

It will be worth it to have someone with me that will share in my inability to navigate the united states.

Still no jobs on the homefront. Been actively looking and put in one application. If you would have told me that I would not have a job or not know where I am going to live in the next few months I would have called you a liar.

Patiently awaiting to see all my friends, my mother of all people, and just wanting to be free!!!!

My friend that was praying the selfish prayer that I would be her roommate has now moved on to praying for another girl to be her roommate.

It's amazing... Tahoe City is different every single day.
