Bite the hand that feeds you

Hated by the person that holds your fate in their hands...

That is the current situation in my professional life. I would be in what people call a rut.

Fresh out of college, full of ambition and the want to learn, with no where to go. Currently, I have a job that is as repetitious as the day is long. Boring as all get out, no challenges, no critical thinking ... Nothing!

You would think one would be happy to be able to surf the net whenever, email, shop online, etc. But I want more.

I want to be challenged on a daily basis and work with genuine people.

Yesterday, I was at the 2nd job and I was talking to a customer. I saw that she was on staff at my Alma Mater and told her I was a recent graduate.

She said that's great! Then she paused for a moment and asked me very frankly : " If you have a degree.. why are you working here?"

I was so furious. I don't have to defend myself to anyone! I told her I was going to buy a house and need some extra money in a tone in which a question would be asked.

She quickly rebuked her previous comment and said: "well good for you"

My 2nd job wasn't good enough in the beginning until I told her what my 1st job was.

Why are people so judgemental. It's none of anyone business where the money comes from. I am guilty of it too, but why?

You don't know me... so don't act like it.

Craziness

It has been crazy. But fun.
Im tired, but making progress.

OK random thoughts.. but that is how I am feeling.
Have you ever been so busy that you dont have any other time to think critcally about life or your situtation.

Life is just flying by... Birthday and new 2nd job has put me in a total crazy situtation.

My brain is to occuiped at the moment. Stayed tuned.

Weekends are never long enough.

After at 40 hour+ work week, you only get 2 days to rest, relax, and have fun?

The weekend was a productive one. Working the 2nd job and making a lil bit of money was in order. I did decide to cut loose Friday night and go out for a bit.

While hanging out at a local pub, I saw this guy that was by himself and thought it would be a perfect time to brush up on my pimp skills.

I struck up conversation, laughed, gave the sexy eyes.. all of it. I was not trying to take him home or even trying to get with him. I was simply trying to see if I "still got it."

Things were going good, until this girl who was under-dressed with a boy's haircut came over and interrupted our conversation??

What the hell? who does this chick thinks she is? Apparently he had know this girl for quite sometime.

We continued to talk for another hour, and periodically she would come up and drink on his drink, touch him inappropriately and snicker at me for talking to him that whole time.

The more I talked to this guy, the more I was not interested in him. It just became this competition between me and this "girl".

Why are girls like that? competitive and want to claim things that are not even theirs??

I think I won anyway....
