Follow the Road... See where it leads you

There comes a time in a person's life where things just get good. Not good in one aspect like: great job, or amazing relationship.. but overall contentment.

Post college life is confusing, exhausting and downright hard. The time it takes to come out of the that quarter-life crisis can been anywhere from 1-5 years. Recently, I began feeling like that time is over and boy was it a relief.

So my adult life starts here in 2011. Even this blog has evolved and you can see the changes that have occurred, how life has changed... CRAZY!

My friends are so great! I have an amazing relationship with my family and a man that makes my world a lil better everyday.

I know this post is not very ambiguous like my others have been recently, but that was inevitable. I decided to let you all into my life just a lil bit.

So bring it on 2011! I am ready to do this thing they call life!

WHERE TO GO?

So it is creeping up on the 2 week mark of being in California.

I must say I don't know if I would want to call "Lake Tahoe" home forever?

Let's weigh the pro's and con's

Pros:

its beautiful to look at and go nature walking

the people are super sweet and would do anything for you.

The air is so much more fresh and makes you feel happy.

There is an ocean not too far away.

Our pastor is great!

Cons:

there is really no where to shop.

not alot of young, single, people live/work here.

I am not an outdoors person and don't like to hike!!!

I don't know ANYONE here

Being somewhere 2 weeks doesn't exactly mean you can make life changing decisions. Just simple observations that have come up in the last 12 days.

Keep it real people.

Turn the lights on...

I just realized... 

I can't see my laptop screen without my glasses.. (yikes) 

Everyday I get a little stronger in dealing with my family and the people they are. 

Being in bed all day on occasion is a MUST! 

That I might be a lil over-emotional. 

I don't have to go to traditional church all the time to learn or to know that God loves me. 

That even though you know a person doesn't mean to hurt you, it doesn't make it any easier. 

Not having a schedule or exact time, being non-committal is actually relieving. 

And lastly, when a chapter of your life is about to end, it seems as if the rewind button is stuck on the past. No matter how much you try to not think about everything, its impossible. 

Random I know. But during this quarter-life crisis I call life, the light bulb comes on quite often.
