Hundreds of people packed the house last Thursday for the first ever Bricktown WORDPULP Poetry slam. The organizer and master mind that made this possible was Jonica Johnson, CEO & Founder of Triple J Entertainment. Hosted by Mannie Hager and Johnson, WORDPULP has been drawing crowds for several years now... just changing up the venue. This was the first event for WordPULP at Sapphire Lounge, located in the heart of Bricktown. The evening began with VIP Networking, followed by performances by: DJ Tre Djxkal Woods, Kevin Sandbloom, Marc Marcel, and several other local artist. It would not have been a night without an After Party and the team at O~City Entertainment showed the crowed a good time. Much like life... Art is what you make it. These professionals have certainly brought new meaning to "Expressing Yourself." WORDPULP will now be held the first Tuesday of every month at Sapphire Lounge in Bricktown. 
They say pictures are worth a 1,000 words... but we say words are worth it themselves.
